What is Mobile Detroit 2050?
Mobile Detroit 2050 is an international call for visions of the future of urban mobility. It invites individuals from around the world to submit creative and innovative images that depict their vision for how mobility will evolve in the year 2050.
Who can participate in Mobile Detroit 2050?
Mobile Detroit 2050 is open to participants from all over the world. We welcome submissions from artists, designers, architects, urban planners, students, and anyone with a passion for envisioning alternative pasts, presents, and futures using AI text-to-image generation.
What kind of images can be submitted?
We accept multiple AI-generated images per submission. You are encouraged to submit images that effectively communicate your vision for the future of urban mobility and the city. How people move is essential. Designers are NOT limited to cars but are encouraged to imagine netowrked mobility in its broadest sense. Individual and collective mobility can and should take many forms for many different groups.
What’s the preferred format for the images?
All formats are welcome for submission; however, please note that the exhibition will predominantly feature images with a 1:1 ratio. We encourage applicants to consider cropping their images accordingly during the submission process, as this will help maintain the intended composition and avoid the need for external editing.
Is there a required AI text-to-image software/platform?
You are free to use any AI text-to-image software or platform of your choice to create the submission material. There are no restrictions on the version or specific software/platform to be used. Feel free to leverage the AI text-to-image technology that best suits your creative process and vision for the Mobile Detroit 2050 project.
How can I submit my images?
To submit your images, please use the Google Form provided on our website. The form will guide you through the submission process, including uploading your images and providing any necessary details or descriptions.
Can I submit multiple entries?
